The Hinschberger family from Germany is well known within the karate world for their knowledge of the art of karate and its do. While my father is currently the DJKB President (JKA division of Germany - a 25,000 member federation under chief instructor and former JKA All Japan Champion Sensei Hideo Ochi), my uncle Horst Hinschberger a former national and international kumite champion and student of Sensei Hiroshi Shirai made his name as the founder of the original Kamikaze Karate gi brand in Germany.
My family is selling traditional karate uniforms under this brand name for more than 30 years in Europe and other parts of the world. Unfortunately someone else is using this name within North America and therefore my family is selling in North and South America under our new brand name Tôkon (Fighting Spirit).
Although there are many other martial arts suppliers out there, our quality, design and knowledge of manufacturing traditional karate uniforms is unique and outstanding.

My name is Marcus Hinschberger and I have intensively studied and trained karate under my main Instructor Hideo Ochi but as well Sensei Taiji Kase and Sensei Hiroshi Shirai. I was also lucky enough to travel throughout the world to train under other great instructors such as Sensei Nishiyama, Sensei Okazaki, Sensei Mikami, Sensei Enoeda, Sensei Tanaka, Sensei Yaguchi, Sensei Mori, Sensei, Omamura, Sensei Tsujama, Sensei Stan Smith, Sensei Takashina, Sensei Ogura, Sensei Omura, Sensei Sakamoto (Ryuei Ryu), Ticky Donovan and many other high level black belts of other styles.
